Long Time Coming in San Marcos

617 BUSH LANE is the one of the first newer homes (built in 2006) in San Marcos, CA over 2100 sq ft to be priced under $500K. This is a big step in correcting a ridiculously over-inflated market in North San Diego County. This will no doubt cause a few sleepless night for nearby adjacent communities. At $499,900 and at 2120 sq ft of living space the price per sq ft yields approximately $235 sq ft. This does fall in my range of $200-250 sq ft in this area. It has been on the market for 4 days, lets see if this sells fast or labors in a exceeding tough buyers market.

No wonder its under 499k. Look at that 2 foot deep front yard! When will builders quit fucking with people in Southern California and give them a damn yard?

I guess as long as they continue to sell. That is being corrected now hopefully

This house is in one of the two least desirable areas of San Marcos. To say that $499K is a good deal on this is quite a stretch - I bet it sells for less than that considering the lot size and location.

Yep, crummy part of San Marcos. I think they're still on the market but at $510. I bet the builder added granite and jacked up the price!
Also, I think there are mello-roos and HOA's...NOT such a good deal, afterall!
